About this listing
The Ibanez Prestige RGR5130R in Khaki Metallic is a purpose built weapon, made for players who demand speed, precision, stability, and a tone that hits with authority. Sleek, stripped down, and unapologetically modern, this Prestige model brings together the surgical feel of Ibanez’s high performance RG platform with a darker, more tactical aesthetic that looks every bit as serious as it sounds.
The Super Wizard HP 5 piece Maple and Wenge neck is pure Ibanez performance DNA. Fast, flat, and incredibly controlled, it gives you the kind of effortless playability that makes technical lines, wide stretches, aggressive rhythm work, and fluid lead playing feel completely natural. The bound Rosewood fretboard adds a refined touch beneath the hands, while the off set Mother of Pearl dot inlays keep the look clean and stealthy. With 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets and the Prestige fret edge treatment, every position feels smooth, broken in, and ready for serious mileage.
The Basswood body keeps things balanced, resonant, and responsive, with enough warmth and punch to handle everything from tight modern metal to soaring lead work. At 7 lbs 9 oz, this guitar has a solid, confident feel without getting in the way. The Khaki Metallic finish pairs perfectly with the Satin Black hardware, giving the whole instrument a rugged, high performance look that feels equal parts custom shop machine and stage ready bruiser.
Loaded with Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers in both the neck and bridge positions, this RGR5130R has a massive active voice with exceptional clarity. The ceramic Fluence Modern set delivers crushing articulation, fast tracking response, tight lows, aggressive mids, and a focused top end that stays defined under gain. The Fishman Fluence Voicing switch gives you access to multiple tonal personalities, letting you move from brutal and modern to more open and dynamic without losing output or precision.
Hardware wise, this guitar is built to stay locked in. The Lo Pro Edge bridge remains one of Ibanez’s most respected tremolo systems, delivering smooth feel, excellent tuning stability, and expressive control for everything from subtle vibrato to full throttle abuse. The locking nut, Gotoh machine heads, 10.8mm string spacing, and factory D’Addario EXL120 strings in .009 to .042 gauge complete a setup that feels fast, familiar, and dialed in right out of the case. Luminlay side dots keep visibility strong on dark stages, while the included hardshell case makes this Prestige ready for the road.
The Ibanez Prestige RGR5130R in Khaki Metallic is not just another high performance guitar. It is sharp, aggressive, refined, and built with the kind of precision that serious players immediately recognize. From its Super Wizard neck to its stainless frets, Lo Pro Edge bridge, Fishman Fluence power, and stealthy Satin Black hardware, this is a no compromise modern machine designed to rip.
