⚡️1981 Gibson Victory Bass USA - Silver Metallic ⚡️. Were you familiar with this model? The Victory Bass wasn't a huge hit when it was first released, yet it’s an instrument well worth checking out—and one that might just surprise you! The design comes from Wayne Charvel, featuring lines that are a bit more aggressive than Fender’s, a beautiful pickguard, and that absolutely wild Thunderbird-style headstock!! Long scale (34 inches), 3-piece flamed maple neck for stability, rosewood fretboard, maple body, and a brass nut. The massive bridge is excellent—offering great sustain—and allowed for precise, fine-tuned adjustments during its time in the shop. The build quality is superb; it is precise and delivers plenty of clarity and attack. It is equipped with a high-quality humbucker pickup, volume and tone controls, and a series/parallel switch. This setup makes it versatile: one position leans toward Jazz Bass tones, while the more powerful setting (series) delivers the growl found in great Precision Basses. It is in excellent condition, with just a few subtle marks on the beautiful Silver Metallic finish. The neck is perfectly straight, the frets are in excellent shape, and the action is set low for precise, fast playing.
