Up for grabs is this beautiful 2014 Heavy Aged Green Lemon Gibson 1959 Custom Shop reissue ‘Hand Selected’ Les Paul. These individual guitars were carefully selected from the Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee, by the representatives of top Japanese dealers with the highest knowledge of Gibson Custom Instruments who took them back to Japan. It’s an absolutely beautiful top on this one as you'd expect from a hand selected R9. Curly maple with wide maple flame and mineral streaking aplenty. The maple flame on this one has a top-quality vintage look. Gibson have given it a stunning in-house heavy relic finish. I'm actually beginning the prefer these older hand aged Gibson relic finishes to the modern day Murphy labs, which sometimes look just like the were put in the freezer and have paint flaking off all over the place. A lot of time & effort was put into the relic finish on this one. Has a beautiful dark vintage aged rosewood fingerboard with some superb swirling rosewood grain (pics). Very, very light at 3.89kg! Obviously no issues at all, no breaks, repairs or modifications. Complete with original historic pink velvet crush lined Lifton reissue hard shell case also in great condition. Complete with all case candy inc. certificate of authenticity booklet & also the separate corresponding hand selected certificate, both bearing the guitar's serial number. This represents the absolute best of the best when it comes to a 1959 Custom Shop aged reissue. We carefully hand-pick all our Custom Shop reissues, and only choose the very best tops.
