The 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster commemorates the birth of this legendary guitar icon 70 years ago. The two-piece ash body, finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, exudes vintage charm. The one-piece maple neck, featuring a 7.25-inch radius fingerboard with vintage frets, offers the smooth playability that players have loved for decades. The 70th Anniversary 1954 Single-Coil Strat pickups deliver a wide range of tones, from the sparkling clean tones unique to the Stratocaster to rich, driving sounds. It also features a synchronized tremolo system that faithfully reproduces vintage specifications, complete with cold-rolled steel blocks and bent steel saddles, as well as Fender Deluxe tuning machines, period-accurate pickup covers and switch tips, and a 1-ply pickguard. A neck shim is included. (Itfs likely been there since the guitar was shipped.) Although there are some fine scratches on the body and fingerboard, the protective film on the pickguard and back panel has not been removed, so the guitar is in relatively good cosmetic condition with minimal damage.
