Overview
The Bock Audio Model 507 (or "5-ZERO-7") is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone with fixed cardioid pattern.
While the amplifier is similar in design to the classic U 47 microphones, the 507 features a unique elliptical capsule rather than the typical 1" round capsule. This capsule eliminates in-band resonances inherent to capsules where the edge-to-edge distance is constant all the way around.
