Jomox AirBase99 Analog Drum Module - One Owner - EPROM 1.15

Up for sale is a legendary Jomox AirBase99 Analog Drum Module in excellent condition.

I am the original and sole owner (One Owner) of this unit, which has been kept in my smoke-free private studio under a stabilized electrical line.

This expander has seen very little use over the years. On those few occasions when it was powered on, it was operated from a remote setup via MIDI.

It comes complete with its original power supply, original box and the original printed manual. The unit is currently equipped with the EPROM firmware version 1.15.

Technical Notes: the hardware is in like-new aesthetic condition. Regarding the main encoder, due to long physical inactivity, the knob was somewhat jumpy during rotation. Now, after use and cleaning, when turned slowly and steadily it seems to work fine, but it can occasionally lose slightly its precision when selecting parameters.

As shown in the video and screenshot, the unit integrates perfectly with modern systems. I have been using the standalone AirControl99 app (macOS Universal, 8.36 MB) on a MacBook Pro M1 Max under macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 to fully test the product over the last few weeks. Thanks to the EPROM 1.15, this setup allows you to easily control and adjust the machine parameters remotely directly from your computer screen, bypassing the hardware menus and front panel navigation entirely.

Note on the video: In the first part of the video, I simply sent sounds from Logic Pro to the Jomox’s MIDI input and changed kits using the Aircontrol99 standalone application (you can see the MIDI LED blinking in real-time). The final part of the video simply shows the main encoder in action. Please note on AirControl99: to adjust and edit the machine's various parameters from the software, you must operate within the user presets—obviously not the write-protected ROM ones, but all the others.
