Based on three classic TUBE-TECH designs - the MP 1A microphone preamplifier, EQ 1A active equalizer, and CL 2A compressor: the MEC 1A delivers the warm, rich, and open sound associated with premium tube equipment. Its versatile design provides precise control over tone and dynamics while maintaining exceptional clarity and transparency.

Each processing section features an independent bypass switch, while a clickless relay allows the EQ and compressor order to be reversed for greater flexibility. Transformer-balanced inputs and outputs, high-quality components, and a fully regulated power supply ensure excellent audio performance and reliability.
