The Suhr Oso Short-Scale in Gold is a beautifully crafted instrument built in Lake Elsinore, California, combining distinctive aesthetics with refined playability and unmistakable Suhr craftsmanship. Its Oso body is constructed from 2-piece Alder and finished in a striking Gold gloss, giving the guitar an elegant presence while providing a balanced tonal foundation. With its 24.625" scale, this Oso offers a comfortable, responsive feel with a slightly softer string tension that makes every note feel immediate and expressive.

The Roasted Maple neck features an Indian Rosewood fingerboard and Suhr's Historic C profile, measuring .850" to .950", with a comfortable 10" radius and 22 Nickel Vintage frets. The satin neck finish provides a smooth, natural feel beneath the hand, encouraging effortless movement across the fingerboard. A Silver Script logo completes the headstock with a subtle nod to classic elegance, while the carefully selected woods and short-scale design give the instrument a warm, familiar character with an inviting touch.

Sonically, this Oso is equipped with a Suhr SSV neck pickup and Suhr SSH bridge pickup, both in Raw Nickel, offering a versatile range of voices from warm, articulate neck tones to clear, powerful bridge sounds. The simple and effective control layout includes a 5-way switch, Volume, and Tone, allowing the guitar's natural character and pickup combination to shine. Suhr Locking Tuning Machines provide dependable tuning stability, while the Suhr 2-Post Bridge with Solid Chrome Saddles delivers a secure and responsive foundation.
