About this listing
Vintage Fender MIJ, a few dings here and there but in really good shape for an old guitar. A but of rust on the bridge as well. Back plate was modded by previous owner and pickup selector toggle was switched but it looks really cool to be honest and makes it a lot easier to change strings. Plays like an absolute dream. This “Made in Japan” Telecaster was produced at the Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production and is uncommon outside of its country of origin, featuring a gloss Candy Apple Red finish framed on both sides by cream binding.Tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fingerboard, and this TL62B-650 weighs 7lbs 8oz. The pair of TL-Vintage single coil pickups have a sparkling snap in the bridge position, with fuller, bell-like tones and sweet percussive cut in the neck position. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar, this Telecaster Custom TL62B-650 has been dialed in with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.Neck Specs:-Wood: Maple-Shape: Medium C, measuring .850” 1st fret, .955” 12th fret-Fretboard: Rosewood slab, 7 1/4” vintage-spec radius-Frets: Slender, light wear beneath the plain strings on frets 1-2-Scale Length: 25 1/2”-Nut: 1.650” (42mm), bone-Tuners: Kluson-style, Gotoh-Serialization: “Made in Japan” (A-prefix serial on bridge base)-Factory Markings: 6-7-89 pencil date on neck heel, Model stamps on neck heel/pocketBody Specs:-Wood: Basswood-Pickups: TL-Vintage single coil x2-Harness: Untouched solder, full-size Japanese pots date to April, 1989-Hardware: “Pat.
