About this listing
Selling my E-MU Proteus 2000 Multitimbral sound module in very good plus condition. The core unit is fully functional and includes the original expanded Composer ROM, which has a great collection of classic E-MU sounds covering everything from keyboards, strings, brass and orchestral instruments to basses, drums and synthesizers. Also included is an additional Xtreme Lead ROM expansion. The XL ROM has a BAD BLK 2AB error when diagnosed and about 15% of the factory patches for that ROM only do not play properly. It is still very usable. The Proteus 2000 is a great-sounding classic multitimbral rack module with 128-voice polyphony, extensive MIDI capabilities and plenty of sound-editing possibilities.
