The Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium combines two legendary circuits in one pedal: a mythical overdrive (inspired by the Klon Centaur) and the tone and feel of iconic D-style (Dumble) amplifiers. This dual-drive pedal accurately recreates the high-headroom overdrive with a magic blend of clean and overdriven tones on the right side, while the left side captures the essence of two legendary D-style tube amplifiers.The overdrive section features germanium diodes for smooth clipping, a wide gain range from transparent boost to high-headroom overdrive, and active treble control. Toggle switches allow selection between buffered or true bypass operation, and between stock or enhanced gain and headroom settings.The amp-in-a-box section employs an all-analog circuit to deliver everything from tube-like compressed fat clean tones to sweet singing overdrive with blooming harmonic overtones. A toggle switch selects between two distinct D-style circuits: SSS (clean and transparent overdrive with natural organic compression) or ODS (higher gain with enhanced mid frequencies and harmonic overtones).
