The guitar is in excellent overall condition, with no paint chips or significant cosmetic damage -something that is unfortunately quite common with Ibanez RG models.

This is a genuine Spot Model, produced in very limited numbers as a special-order instrument. This particular guitar was released for the Japanese distributor Ikebe Gakki and features the highly distinctive Black Opal finish, which was not part of the regular catalog.

The guitar has been upgraded with Gotoh locking tuners for improved tuning stability and convenience.

The original DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups have been replaced with a DiMarzio Evo 2 in the bridge position and a DiMarzio Evolution in the neck position, both in the Quick Connect version. This is a particularly convenient upgrade, as future replacement with another compatible DiMarzio pickup can be done without soldering or modifying the guitar's wiring.
