This is the first production year of the OxFuzz, bought new directly from Ken Baluke.
Comes with its original warranty card, hand-signed by Ken.
This is the Germanium model with the n.o.s. 2N404 transistors.
Made with n.o.s. components like Mullard "tropical fish" & Siemens blue caps and carbon composition resistors as you can see in the photos.
Amazing fuzz, have all of its versions. Ox II Germanium, Ox 274, etc...
And that's the reason I'm selling it. I can't keep all of them, so decided to sell the one which I think will sell faster, in order to fund other gear.
Fat sounding, detailed, clears fantastic with the volume rolled off a bit (better than others like ZVex F.F. for example, or Fulltone's '69 big box).
You can go easily from Hendrix to modern stoner or doom metal.
Loves strats and Gibsons with P.A.F. type pickups.
You will not be disappointed buying this pedal.
