i Barely used REDNET 3 Dante interface. This unit was bought for pandemic broadcast and has been sitting ever since It has seen 6 months or so of use and that is it.RedNet 3 allows ultra fast Dante interfacing of your existing digital audio systems and components, with a maximum of 32 inputs and outputs and full software remote control capability. Sixteen ADAT optical ports ensure that you can run a full 32 digital channels in and out even at 96kHz (S-MUX2). The unit offers support for AES, S/PDIF and ADAT digital audio formats and allows the RedNet system to be synchronised to incoming signal clock or a word clock source.I used the unit in an hybrid studio mixing setup. I connected all external hardware via A/D converters to the 32 channels and routed every thing directly in the DAW. No patch bay required! All routing for projects were saved and recalled automatically from the DAW. The Dante connection is ultra fast thru a single cat 5e cable. Compatible with PC or Mac with an ethernet port. Software is available for free from Focusrite. Great unit, just down sizing.
