About this listing
Inspired by the beach community on Catalina Island in Southern California, the Avalon tenor ukulele is the larger sibling to our incredibly popular Venice soprano model. A tenor ukulele gives the player a deeper tonal register than a concert or soprano body size, while still maintaining the portability to travel easily from the beach to the studio or jam room. The Avalons all-basswood construction and slim "C"-shaped neck profile, provide the superior tone and playability that is a hallmark of Fender ukuleles.Other features include a no-tie bridge for quick, easy string changes, classic Fender colour options and painted 4-in-line Strat® headstock. With the Avalon ukulele, you can be transported to your own island no matter where you are. Features Tenor-sized ukuleleNo-tie bridge4-in-line Strat® headstock TENOR BODY Favoured amongst professional players, and equally balanced for strumming or fingerpicking, tenor ukuleles have a full, deep sound, with more bass than the smaller soprano or concert sizes. NO-TIE BRIDGE California Coast ukuleles feature a convenient no-tie bridge, making string changes a breeze compared to traditional ukulele bridges which require special knotting. 4-IN-LINE STRAT® HEADSTOCK This ukulele's headstock replicates the iconic Stratocaster® headstock shape for a dash of authentic Fender vibe.
