Good condition, 6,5/10, Made in Fullerton, CA, USA, including non original hardcase, has a crack in the wood from one of the tuner mounting screws (tightened too hard?), very worn lower horn from the original case (which had a screw right there), the history of this bass is that it was purchased brand new from Hagström Örnsköldsvik by a bass player from Docksta, and the second owner who brought it to us has owned the bass since 1970, the original case broke and disappereared in a car accident many years ago, the bass has been played on many tours and records since then, more specs: straight grain rosewood in the fingerboard, clay dots, lots of finish missing on the back, original frets which are a bit flat but very playable, removed strap button on back of headstock, neck stamp 5AUG64C, untouched electronics, pots dated 304-642x (last digit covered with solder) and 304-6420, in the pickup cavity is a masking tape under the finish with signature F, Villanueva (we don´t usually see assemblers signatures in 1964 Fenders but after some research we have found others with the same name)
