Though it's no longer in production, the Fender American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster was a member of the company's esteemed American Vintage Reissue series, designed to the specs of old-school favorites.
This one, of course, was based on the original '62 Jazzmaster, which was renowned for its place in the surf rock tunes of the '60s, as well as a smattering of other defining genres over the following decades. With two single-coil soapbar pickups, a three-way pickup selection switch, and a floating tremolo system, among other design elements matched to its vintage counterpart, the American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster is a great way to get those retro-vibes flowing.
