Univox Hi-Flier Bass by Eastwood Guitars
Vintage Univox Hi-Flier Reissue!
Mosrite Ventures –style electric bass guitar!
Anybody who has played a good example of the original Univox will appreciate how light, resonant and fun to play they were. Straight up Rock and Roll machines with more than a dash of Punk thrown in… These reissues totally capture the vibe, (and dare we say it?) even surpass the original. Eastwood’s Univox Hi-Flier Bass reissue is like finding the best possible example of an original Hi Flier, without the months/years of hit and miss searching!
First introduced as a more player friendly replica of a vintage Mosrite Ventures model, original Univox Hi-Flier guitars and basses have become quite collectible and harder to find. But alas, the cool folks at Eastwood Guitars have replicated the body, neck profile, bridge and pickups in perfect detail with their Hi-Flier reissue - All at a very affordable price point. In fact, one could argue that the quality of these Eastwood Hi-Flyer replicas is actually better and more consistent than the original Univox models. They certainly sound and play great! A funky, cool alternative to all the typical Fender and Gibson – style stuff everyone else is playing. Be Unique! Be Yourself! Play something cooler!
