Here is a 2004 OOO-60 by Larrivée.
Made in the USA. All solid construction with book-matched rosewood back and sides and a gorgeous solid Canadian sitka spruce top. You can see the whole spec here, except you can't because Reverb removes links. How annoying. So head over to the Larrivee site and check out the spec. It's mind-blowing . These currently retail at $5000.00 in the states and don't come up very often.
This is their top of the line, combining everything we love about traditional tone woods with some smart modern touches. Tonally this instrument is up there with the best. If you're seriously interested I'm happy to record a wee sample. The mids and trebles are as well-defined as any instrument I've owned. It really does sing.
The craftsmanship on the '60' range is jaw-dropping - maple bindings, ebony fingerboard, beautiful mother-of-pearl inlays. If you're in the Harrogate area, you're welcome to come and try it out. Thanks for looking
