Some history about the origin of this mandolin:
It was manufactured by Cremona, the biggest and the only stringed instrument manufacturer during the communist era. After Worl War II, in 1946, some of the most famous Amati instrument makers from Kraslice, Luby, Schönbach and Plesná decided to join forces to establish the Cremona cooperrative.
