Reviewers note that this makes the guitar incredibly lightweight and comfortable to play on stage without sacrificing traditional tone or sustain.* Dynamic Electronics: The uncovered 490R and 490T humbuckers capture classic 1960s-inspired rock and blues tones. They offer a mid-heavy, punchy performance but are easily modded if players want a hotter or heavier output.* Satin Faded Lacquer: The thin nitro finish gives each instrument a smooth satin texture that lets the wood grain breathe. Over time, this thin layer allows early natural relicing and wearing where your hands rest, enhancing its vintage charm.* Stripped-Down Aesthetics: To maintain affordability while remaining made in the USA, Gibson omitted premium cosmetics. The guitar lacks fretboard or body binding, pickguard "poker chip" labels, or traditional trapezoid inlays, opting for minimalist dot markers instead.NOTES:This is a player’s grade guitar in excellent condition. The finish exhibits scratches and imperfections as would be expected with its age and normal use. None of these issues affect its performance. I have tried to take great care with photographs to correctly present the instrument’s condition. I invite your questions or comments for additional information of clarity. The guitar is mechanically sound and ready for regular use.Guitar complies with “Condition Definitions” descriptions and photos.7-DAY INSPECTION POLICY:This guitar includes a 7-day inspection period starting upon delivery.
