Schecter Riggs Ultra FR-S Guitar Satin Black

The Riggs Ultra FR-S combines aggressive styling with serious hardware and electronics engineered for extended sustain and extreme whammy bar use. Its thin "C" shaped neck profile and Ultra Access body contour deliver comfortable speed and reach across the fretboard, while the Floyd Rose 1500 locking bridge maintains tuning stability even under aggressive tremolo abuse. Built for players who prioritize tonal versatility and performance reliability.

Construction & Playability

The mahogany body features a set-neck design with Ultra Access and a raised center top contour that balances resonance with ergonomic access to upper frets. The neck pairs three-piece mahogany with carbon fiber reinforcement rods for exceptional stability, while the thin "C" profile ensures comfortable hand positioning during extended sessions. The ebony fretboard with 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and a 14-inch radius facilitates smooth bending and rapid position shifts across the 25.5-inch scale length.

Electronics & Tone

The Schecter USA Brimstone™ bridge pickup delivers powerful, articulate output ideal for high-gain applications, while the Sustainiac neck pickup enables infinite note sustain for ambient textures and lead work. Control over these elements comes via a kill switch, 3-way pickup selector, and two Sustainiac mini-switches, providing extensive tonal flexibility across styles and performance contexts.
