About this listing
Here’s an exceptionally clean 1996 Squier Pro Tone Stratocaster in Vintage Blonde, featuring its original electronics and untouched solder joints. The guitar is completely original aside from two MIJ string trees on the headstock.
I’ve sold plenty of Pro Tones over the years, and this one stands out immediately. It’s about as clean as you could hope to find for its age, showing only a few minor dings and light signs of normal use. See photos.
The resonant ash body weighs in at 7 lbs 15 oz, with excellent balance and lively acoustic response. The neck carve feels fantastic, and the frets are in excellent condition with a conservative 80% life remaining at the lowest point.
Includes the original tremolo arm, backplate, and screws.
