The SPL Reducer does what its name implies, reducing the power output of your guitar or bass amp - while maintaining your tone / volume sweetspot. I bought it in '19 and have used it with my tube amp at home. It works perfectly and do not see any blemishes. It's very easy to operate too: you place the SPL Reducer between your amp head and speaker cab. For the amp output, Reducer gives you impedance settings of 4, 8, or 16 Ohms.
