Panoramica
Founded in 1951 and based in Germany, Meinl Percussion is one of the two leaders in European cymbal and percussion manufacture alongside Paiste.
Darker than their Custom counterparts, the Soundcaster Fusion series features a combination of finishes on one cymbal for a wider array of possible sounds. Minute hammering techniques and lathed/semi-lathed sections provide the Soundcaster Fusions a more immediate attack and quicker decay. Like the Soundcaster Custom series, the Soundcaster Fusion is made from Meinl's custom B12 Alloy.
The Soundcaster Fusion Powerful Ride features a heavier weight for high-volume accents and sustain.
Years of production: ca. 2008-present
Composition: B12 Alloy (88% copper, 12% tin, traces of silver)
Associated artists: Brann Dailor, Tommy Clufetos, Chris Adler
