About this listing
We have received a used MARTIN DX2E Billy Strings. A signature model by blues guitarist Billy Strings! Key specifications include a solid spruce top, HPL (Brazilian rosewood-patterned) sides and back, a select hardwood neck, an ebony fingerboard, a standard C-shaped profile with a nut width of approximately 43.2 mm, and a scale length of 632 mm. It is equipped with a Martin E-1 pickup system, making it suitable for a wide range of applications as an electro-acoustic guitar, including live performances and home recording. Regarding its condition, there are dents, scratches, and some tarnish and rust on the metal parts, showing signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age. There is a slight bulge visible beneath the bridge on the top. The neck has a slight forward bow and no neck lift. String action at the 12th fret is 2.5mm on the 6th string and 1.9mm on the 1st string; the truss rod has been adjusted to 60 degrees on both sides. The frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, and approximately 70% of the original frets remain. The nut slots have been adjusted at our repair center. There are no issues with the electronics, and the output is good. It comes with the original gig case. Combining ease of play with a professional-grade sound, this is a model we can highly recommend to a wide range of players, from those just starting out with acoustic guitar to those looking for a ready-to-play electro-acoustic.
