The B-Plex preamp combines 47 years of amplifier design experience with cutting-edge technology to provide the flexibility modern musicians need. At the heart of every Gallien-Krueger product is the active 4-band gVariable Qh equalizer and contour circuit that set the standard for bass tone shaping over 30 years ago. Infused with GK technology proven over many years, the B-Plex features a variety of filters that allow you to create your own original bass tone. In addition, the Voice control allows you to select the sound character of legendary Gallien-Krueger models such as the 800RB, Fusion550, MB800, and MB150. The compressor and overdrive, which can be turned on and off with a footswitch, allow your playing to blend seamlessly into the band or stand out without being buried in the mix. It features an LED display that is easy to read from the floor, as well as a convenient chromatic tuner. It features a standard jack output for connecting to an amplifier or power amp, as well as a DI output for sending the signal to a PA or recording console. The AUX input and headphone output are ideal for quietly jamming along with your favorite songs. Additionally, USB input and output jacks allow for digital recording and re-amping when paired with your favorite recording software. Furthermore, the LED-illuminated controls are highly visible even on a dark stage, and the substantial chassis provides outstanding stability when the footswitch is pressed. Externally, there are scattered minor scratches and stains from normal use, but there are no operational issues.
