About this listing
Here is an absolutely fantastic player. All genuine real road worn ware. Finish worn off the neck, paint chipped on the body. All genuine when you play it you’ll see why. This guitar sings. It’s not all original or collectors grade but it is fantastic and has vintage Japanese parts where it counts. Output jack cup replaced with a plate gibson style. Original knobs swapped out for vintage 50's correct chrome plated brass dome knobs. Original white pickguard is gone. However it's wearing a nice Bakelite guard from WD music.Original pickup, wiring & pots (tho don't think all of the caps are original) Original tuners, saddles, bridge, switch and nut. The neck has the date 1-20-86 written on it. It's routed for two pickups from the factory but these shipped with one as an Esquire. It actually makes adjusting the truss rod a breeze.Vintage specs 7.25” board, 21 frets, ash body, poly finish. The finish shows signs of wear. there’s a large chip off the back of the lower horn and various scrapes and dings it’s not a case queen it’s a fantastic player the neck is round but not super thick Absolutely superb Japanese craftsmanship. Tons of mojo and vibe and none of the "modern relicing” that looks super fake. This guitar tells a story of the life it’s lead for the last 40 years. This is one of the best sounding and playing guitars I own and I never thought I'd sell it But there comes a time for everything.
