1988 Fender Eric Clapton Artist Series Stratocaster – USA – Lace Sensor PickupsUp for sale is my 1988 Fender Eric Clapton Artist Series Stratocaster, made in the USA and equipped with the original Lace Sensor pickups. This is a fantastic-playing and great-sounding Stratocaster that has clearly earned its place as a classic Fender.The guitar was recently professionally set up and fitted with a fresh set of strings, so it’s ready to plug in and play.It comes with:Original Lace Sensor pickupsTwo rechargeable Ernie Ball 9V batteries for the active electronicsGuitar caseFresh strings and recent setupCondition:The guitar is in very good overall condition for its age. There is some light wear on the neck from normal playing, as well as a very small chip (less than 1 mm) next to the strap button. The chip is extremely minor and is completely covered when a strap is attached.The bridge is in the same configuration as when I purchased the guitar and is currently set up non-floating.This is a genuinely excellent guitar, but I’m selling it simply to free up some space and move it along to someone who will get more use out of it.Please look carefully at the photos for the exact cosmetic condition.
