About this listing
Epiphone Dobro Hound Dog M-14 Metalbody (Round Neck) - Nickel
Few acoustic instruments have a voice as distinctive as a metal-bodied resonator, and the Dobro Hound Dog M-14 delivers that classic sound in a package that's equally at home with blues, slide, folk, and fingerstyle playing. Its nickel-plated bell brass body produces the punchy attack, rich overtones, and natural projection that have made resonators a favorite for nearly a century.
The round-neck design and comfortable SlimTaper mahogany neck make the M-14 approachable for both traditional resonator players and guitarists looking to add a new flavor to their collection. Whether you're digging into Delta-inspired slide work or intricate fingerpicked passages, the biscuit-style resonator responds with the dry, articulate character that defines great Dobros.
Vintage-inspired details like the rounded Dobro headstock, rosewood fingerboard, and nickel hardware give the guitar timeless appeal, while modern appointments such as a dual-action truss rod and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners ensure dependable performance. It's a character-filled instrument with a sound that's impossible to mistake and just as hard to put down.
