The Audix SCX25A is a large diaphragm condenser microphone with fixed cardioid polar pattern and a patented capsule suspension system which completely isolates the capsule from the body of the microphone and the electronics. It features minimal proximity effect, so the frequency response stays very consistent regardless of how close or far the microphone is from the sound source.
