Gibson / 1996 J-45 Western

This instrument is a model released in 1996 as part of the Classic Series.

Although the label reads "1963 J-45," the warranty card from the import agent at the time and the catalog show that it was sold as "J-45 WESTERN."

—ONLY A GIBSON IS GOOD ENOUTH

The headstock features the banner commonly known as "ONLY A GIBSON IS GOOD ENOUTH" (Gibson is the one and only real thing).

Similarly, the modern Gibson logo is designed on it.

A distinctive feature is the angular font of the "G."

The bell-shaped truss rod cover is a two-piece design, not a single-piece.

The round-shoulder body is made of Sitka spruce.

The coloring is a vintage sunburst finish.

The guitar features a small pickguard, not a large one.

Combined with the headstock banner, it evokes the look of a 1940s J-45.

The sides and back are made of mahogany and finished in a dark walnut color.

The mahogany grain is visible through the finish.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features mother-of-pearl dot position markers.

The mahogany neck is a 3-piece construction with a distinctive V-shaped neck grip.

The upbelly bridge has a short saddle and white bridge pins.

The tuning machines are KLUSON DELUXE rotomatic tuners.

This ensures stable tuning, allowing you to concentrate on playing without stress.

[Playing Condition]
-String height at 12th fret: 6th string side 2.0mm, 1st string side 1.9mm
-Saddle protrusion: Approx. 1.5mm to 3.0mm
-There are no dead spots or buzzing, and the playing condition is good.
