Well ... some things are just too beautiful - and Hombres Y Chiquitas - these BBC LL76 transformers are all that with cherries on top. They were used in a lot of BBC equipment builds cause they make audio sweeter with their lovely saturation and 3d which gets better when pushed (we use Logic's i/o utility for this) - and even sound good blown out with sub madness. There's also a switchable diode clipper circuit welded in which changes the tone and (natch) clips the edges before the audio enters the transformer core - this can be used subtly to sit mixes nicely or creatively to analog distort anything that needs energising. After that there's a stand alone stereo diode circuit to either use separately (different diodes btw) or in series with the transformer set. Complete destructo distortion violence can be yours! All analog - all passive - these transformer sets are the cheapest and easiest way to get real analog 3d and dynamics into your daw session for either mixing or mastering. Balanced jacks in and out - and yes - the 2nd diode set pictures light up in time to your music! Magic!
