Vintage Weltklang Solist Alto Saxophone – Made in GDR – Original Case
For sale is a vintage Weltklang Solist alto saxophone made in Markneukirchen, East Germany (GDR).
This instrument has a warm, characterful vintage sound and is currently in good playing condition. The keywork moves smoothly, the mechanism feels responsive, and the instrument speaks easily across the full range. All notes from low Bb to the upper register play clearly and evenly.
The saxophone comes with its original hard case, which still provides excellent protection and has a beautiful vintage appearance of its own.
Cosmetically, the instrument shows the natural patina and character that many vintage players appreciate. The engraving remains clearly visible and the horn presents very nicely overall.
