The Control Voltage Processor CVP1 works like two Aux Sends for audio and CVs - one input can be sent proportionally to up to three outputs and scaling in normal and inverted fashion. The third outputs can be mixed in two ways in addition. This way we get an active splitter, attenuator, polarizer and mixer. Both channels of the CVP-1, A and B, have an input for audio signals or control voltages and three outputs, each equipped with an individual polarizer attenuverter). The polarizers are 100% true which means in middle position there is absolutely no signal, as it is supposed to be. This is especially important when modulating frequencies. The third output of each channel i.e. outputs 3A and 3B are mixed in the central mix section. The SUM output emits the sum of both signals and the OR output only the positive going waveforms or signals. Each input of the CVP-1 ins normalized to +5V; if no cable is in the input jack you can use the channel as a voltage offset or a constant voltage source.
Features
- Dual Aux Send for special rerouting of Control Voltage and Audio FX sends.
- Individual polarizer attenuverters for each of the three inputs.
- Sum and OR outputs for mixed or subtracted signal combinations.
- +5v Output if no signal is plugged into the input.
- One input splits to three outputs for complex routing.
