THE JAZZCAT OB01
This plug in upgrade card boosts all outputs on the EMU SP12 & SP1200, bringing the sp's output up to the level of most modern audio equipment. The OB01 does this without adding any extra noise, or change to the sound of your classic sampler.
With this card installed, the outputs of the sp are incredibly hot and that makes those drums BANG!
No more turning that sp up to full volume, or boosting further down your audio chain and adding unwanted noise!
The OB01mounts within ic sockets on the SP's motherboard, the kit includes all soldering instructions and parts required.
If you have the very last edition sp1200 with the plug in filter daughter pcb, you will need to replace it with the original style ssm chips to mount this upgrade, this is due to mounting space.this is not too difficult and will be an improvement on your filtered outputs
