Title: 1974 National Panasonic RD-9844 Analog Rhythm Machine – Original Box – Working – Video Demo

Description:

Up for sale is a vintage 1974 National Panasonic RD-9844 rhythm machine, in great working order and complete with its original box. That's hard to find with these.

The RD-9844 is about as pure as early analog drum boxes get. It's built entirely from discrete transistor circuits, with no chips inside. You get four preset rhythms plus three playable drum pads. The sound is raw and charming: boomy kicks, fat snares, and plenty of sizzling noise percussion. It's great run through pedals, tape, or a sampler for lo-fi, experimental, or ambient work.

Condition:

• Tested and fully functional. All presets, drum pads, tempo, and volume work as they should.
• Cosmetically [excellent / light wear — note any scuffs].
• The original box is [condition].
• It's powered by a 9V battery [included / not included].

Video: Check the demo video to hear exactly what you're getting.

Shipping: Packed in its original box, then double-boxed with plenty of padding.
