MJM Guitarworks Dallas Boost, a premium, handcrafted recreation of the legendary Dallas Rangemaster treble booster from the 1960s. Known for their meticulous build quality and exceptional ear for vintage tone, MJM designed this pedal to deliver the same biting overdrive, vocal midrange, and sweet harmonic saturation that defined the sound of classic rock royalty like Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, and Tony Iommi. The Dallas Boost features a hand-selected New Old Stock (NOS) germanium transistor, which is the heart and soul of the authentic vintage tone. When running into a slightly breaking up tube amplifier, this pedal tightens up the low end, pushes the mids forward, and adds a rich, musical top-end sparkle that easily cuts through any live or studio mix.Key features and controls include:
- Vintage Circuitry: A faithful, point-to-point style circuit utilizing a premium NOS germanium transistor for organic warmth and dynamic touch sensitivity.
- Simple One-Knob Control: The single knob controls the output volume, allowing you to easily adjust how hard you want to push the front end of your amplifier.
- Incredible Volume Cleanup: Extremely responsive to your guitar's volume knob, allowing you to clean up your tone smoothly from a roaring crunch to a sparkly, chimey clean simply by rolling back your guitar's volume.
The pedal is in great overall cosmetic and working condition, built into a compact and rugged metal casing that is ready for heavy stage or studio duty.
