With this Nocaster, built in 2008 by Greg Fessler, our excitement could hardly be greater — because even at first glance, it's clear that this is no ordinary Nocaster. The wonderfully heavy-reliced “White Blonde” finish — with plenty of aging marks in all the right place — combined with the black pickguard and weathered hardware, underscores this guitar’s unique visual appeal. An absolute top-tier instrument for anyone who loves a thick neck (.990-.990''). It features a “52 Style U” profile, Medium/Jumbo frets and a 9.5'' fingerboard radius. Fender definitely didn’t skimp on the wood when it comes to the neck. It feels great in the hand and, together with the lightweight ash body, resonates superbly — which, of course, contributes significantly to the Nocaster’s excellent resonance. Sonically, this guitar delivers the beloved sound you’d expect from a Nocaster/Telecaster: the two Nocaster singlecoils at the bridge produce a great Tele twang — lively with plenty of mids, never shrill or harsh. At the neck, the tone is wonderfully bell-like and bluesy, dynamic and transparent. We’re delighted to offer you this Nocaster except for only minimal signs of play and use in top condition.
