Arp 2600P Tonus 1971 or 72.
Without keyboard. Owned for about 15 years. For some reason a previous owner to painted part of the Tolex in a brown wood kind style .
Works well, before publishing I tested VCOs, VCF, VCA, Ring Mod, Preamp, Noise, S&H, Volt processors, Mixer, spring reverb, everything is fine, except :
- background white noise noticeable on left internal HP when slider is between 1/3 and 2/3 (no noise at max level which makes it a minor issue)
- Some sliders are a bit harsh : Volt processor 1, Noise color and level, they work, just move them with care without straining
- 1 slider is broken but works perfectly (far right VCO 2 FM on VCO 3)
- A reverb On/Off switch has been added, it works but when ure using external outputs in ON position, you don’t have any reverb effect when u push the sliders at max level for both left and right outputs (an output at max and the other low works). The best thing would certainly to shunt this mod which is not that useful.
All vco’s stay in tune but would certainly benefit for a calibration , it sounds great (this is the earliest model after the grey meanie) and have that ARP style…
Used with various cv/gate keyboards or Midi with Kenton Pro (not included) using the preamp to get 15v trigger at gate
US model . Works on 110v (converter to 220v not included)
Selling it cause we have 2 and need cash for other gear's servicing.
