Spot-On Buddy Guy Strat Style
Nail Buddy Guy's stinging tone and vibe on the dot with the Buddy Guy Standard Stratocaster. With a bold polka-dot finish as flamboyant as Guy himself, it's likely one of the most distinctive Strat models you'll ever lay eyes (and hands) on. And with pure tone and vintage-style features, it's a superbly spot-on performer worthy of one of the greatest names in electric blues.
Polka-Dot Finish
You get spot-on Buddy Guy authenticity with his highly distinctive signature model’s eye-popping black finish with big white polka dots.
“Soft V” Neck Profile
The “soft V” neck profile (the shape of the neck in cross section) on the Buddy Guy Stratocaster has a distinctly comfortable fretting-hand feel that takes the more pronounced sharpness of a ’50s “V” profile and “softens” it into a somewhat more rounded shape. Ideal for players with larger hands whose thumb extends over the edge of the fingerboard.
Standard Single-Coil Pickups
In more than half a century of Fender history and modern music history, there’s really nothing like the timeless singing, snapping, screaming and sparkling sound of Fender Standard single-coil pickups, as heard on the Buddy Guy Stratocaster.
