Neumann U87 Copy w/ Neumann k870 & Neumann BV13 Transformer

The body is an exact Neumann u87 replica that literally accepts Neumann parts such as head grill assemblies and so on. The capsule is a Neumann K870 capsule that was purchased from Andreas Grosser and was reskinned by Thiersch. This mic is simply breathtaking. anyone who has bought my mics in the past know how picky I am and this is just amazing. This comes with the Neumann box, shock mount, and a wooden box. Robert Sestili at RMS Audioworks installed the Neumann capsule as well as re wiring the bottom bell. Now it’s spot on to an official vintage Neumann U87. i’ve had vintage U 87‘s before and I’ll tell you what this is very smooth and the way that Thiersch re skinned the capsule it sounds phenomenal. I also need to add that this works with the Max Kircher MK 67 circuit kit. I’ve used it before and it sounds phenomenal. I recently purchased a brand new Neumann BV13 transformer for It. It’s not installed yet.
