BIGZUN DIRT – Analog Distortion, 4HP Eurorack Module (assembled and tested)

DIRT is a compact 4HP analog distortion. Its circuit follows the classic hard-clipping distortion pedal recipe – a high-gain op-amp stage, diode clipping and a tone filter – adapted to Eurorack levels and ±12 V power.

DRIVE takes the sound from almost clean to raw, aggressive distortion. TONE sets the brightness, BLEND mixes the clean and the distorted signal, and LEVEL sets the output volume. Two outputs work at the same time: OUT is the full-range, bright output, WARM is the same signal through a gentle low-pass filter – a warmer distortion without the fizzy top end. A LED next to the input flashes with the output signal.

All knobs work the same way: clockwise = more.
