Z.Vex Jonny Octave Hand Painted – 2008 – Original Box

Beautiful hand-painted Z.Vex Jonny Octave in metallic purple, featuring colourful psychedelic artwork. This example is dated November 7, 2008, with serial number J149 handwritten on the bottom plate and matching the original box.

The Jonny Octave is an analog octave-up pedal offering either one or two octaves above the note played. It produces distinctive, harmonically rich sounds, from ringing upper-octave leads to more unusual textures in the two-octave setting. It is particularly effective for single-note playing, using the neck pickup around the 12th fret.

Each octave setting has its own volume control. The right footswitch engages or bypasses the effect, while the left selects between the one- and two-octave settings.

This example is in very good cosmetic condition, with light signs of use and a few small marks on the enclosure. Fully functional. Powered by a 9V battery or a suitable centre-negative 9V DC supply.

Supplied with its matching original box, red cloth and decorative box tie shown in the photographs.
