Here is a vintage 421N in a custom orange housing. Something you don't see everyday... or any day! This is the first being offered of our custom color 421's.

This has been serviced and restored for reliable and proper studio & stage use going forward. Diaphragm and capsule have been meticulously cleaned. This is a problem for a lot of vintage 421's that don't have proper full low-end response. Ferrous dust collects on the diaphragm and around the capsule, essentially freezing the microphone from proper use. This one is cleaned and sounds awesome and full.

It's been converted to XLR output so no worries about having a tuchel tail. The connector is high quality, made in Germany specially for 421's.

The custom housing... is awesome obviously. A real stunner on stage, this translucent orange reminds me of the old Gameboy pockets!
The housing design has been carefully R&D'd to function just like the original. Internal dimensions are the same. I have sound comparisons with another serviced 421N, and there is no discernible audio difference. Weight of the bodies is quite similar. ASA custom clip is also included. The mic holds well on the clip just with friction even, but it does incoroporate a locking mechanism like the typical 421 clips.
