The D-41 is one of Martin's most celebrated dreadnought models, combining the powerful projection and balanced tonal response of the classic D-series with elegant appointments and beautiful figured detailing. This example offers the rich, full-bodied sound and timeless appearance that have made the D-41 a favorite among acoustic players and collectors.
The dreadnought body delivers plenty of volume, depth, and projection, with a balanced response that works equally well for strumming, flatpicking, and vocal accompaniment. The D-41's upgraded appointments and distinctive pearl detailing give it a level of elegance that sets it apart from the more understated models in the Martin lineup.
The guitar has had a pickup installed in the past, which has since been removed. The internal battery clip remains installed. An additional strap button has also been added at the neck heel. The bridge has been professionally reset, and there are no cracks present. This guitar comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).
Condition: 9.2/10 - Very Good. Features light finish checking around the binding, light surface scratches, a small ding on the back of the neck, and a small cluster of dings on the top. The bridge has been reset. No cracks. A pickup was previously installed and removed, with the battery clip remaining internally, and an additional strap button has been added at the neck heel. Overall, a clean and well-cared-for vintage Martin with honest cosmetic wear.
