About this listing
Handwired Re-Issue of the Marshall 1973X, which was originally released back in 1966.Some small and minor scuffs/tears on the tolex at the bottom edges, but otherwise in near perfect condition, nothing noticeable…It’s a ”Beautiful Beast” of an amp, positioned by Marshall as the smaller and more portable version of their 1962HW “Bluesbreaker” Re-Issue of the same series. The original model was made famous by Eric Clapton when he used it on the “Beano” album (John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers) in the early 60’s…Has a Fan-Tas-Tic sounding tremolo on the second channel, second to none !! (Footswitch included)Thorough articles and reviews can be found online, as well as a comparison between the 1962HW (30 Watts) and this 1973X (18 Watts). The full tech specs are also in the very last picture of this listing. She will be carefully wrapped and packed for shipment.Happy bidding !!!Cheers, E.
