Ibanez PGM50 Paul Gilbert Signature Guitar — Black B-Stock
The PGM50 is a lightweight, fast-playing solid-body electric engineered for high-speed technique and aggressive single-note work. Its slim 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck and 25.5" scale deliver the responsiveness and access Paul Gilbert demands, while the American Basswood body keeps the instrument manageable for extended playing sessions. This B-stock unit offers full specification parity with new examples at a reduced price point.
Playability & Neck Profile
The 648mm scale with 43mm nut width and 400mm fingerboard radius create a comfortable grip for both chord work and rapid position shifts. Twenty-two medium frets with premium edge treatment ensure clean fretting across the entire neck, while the tapered neck profile (20mm at the first fret, 22mm at the 12th fret) balances upper-fret access with hand support lower on the neck.
Tone & Electronics
The three-pickup configuration pairs DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers (Alnico/Passive) at neck and bridge with a DiMarzio PGM single-coil (Alnico/Passive) in the middle position, delivering articulate highs and controlled sustain across high-gain and clean settings. The F106 fixed bridge anchors tuning stability, while gold hardware and the signature painted f-hole graphic complete the visual identity.
