This pedal faithfully recreates the first channel on the Gurus Naked amp head. It features a mini toggle with settings for “sexy” and “crunch”. The “sexy” setting is lower gain and it provides the perfect amount of grit for bluesy rhythm tones ala Stevie Ray Vaughn. The “crunch” setting adds more gain for gorgeous leads. The distortion is very vox-like in a lot of ways. The pedal does the Brian May tone quite well! The three-band EQ work beautifully and really enables you to tailor the sound of the pedal to your needs!
