Gibson Acoustic Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition - Cremona Burst
Celebrate a full century of iconic flat-top history with the absolutely stunning Gibson Custom Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition. Handcrafted by elite luthiers in Bozeman, Montana, this rare beauty is limited to just 100 instruments worldwide, making it a dream come true for both players and serious collectors. Originally bursting onto the scene in 1936, the Advanced Jumbo (AJ) quickly earned a legendary reputation among discerning musicians as one of the best-sounding and most projectable acoustic designs ever engineered.
This special edition couples a premium rosewood back and sides with a gorgeous, hand-selected bear claw Sitka spruce top. Acoustically, this pairing is pure magic—spruce is a powerhouse domestic wood known for delivering a laser-focused, quick-projecting fundamental sound , while the heavy rosewood provides a deep, booming bass register and crystal-clear trebles. This premium density yields a piano-like note separation and exceptional volume that effortlessly cuts through any musical mix. From delicate fingerpicking to driving flat-top rhythms, the AJ body shape produces enhanced acoustic output and a rich, satisfying low-end response that will keep you inspired for decades.
Gibson certainly didn't skimp on the eyes or ears here, wrapping this beauty in a period-correct, high-gloss Cremona Burst nitrocellulose lacquer and topping it off with a vintage "The Gibson" script logo. Under the hood, it comes loaded with a premium L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle piezo system and active preamp, featuring ultra-discreet soundhole volume and tone controls so you can plug in on stage without ruining the classic aesthetic. Whether you are hunting for that vintage 1930s vibe or an absolute acoustic cannon that commands the room, this rare piece of Gibson history is ready to take center stage.
